Ralph Spence

As a former journalist, Ralph Spence began his career in movies as a film editor in 1921.

 By the mid-’20s, he was well known as one of Hollywood’s top title writers, by 

providing clever, witty dialogue for silent films 

Also known as a "film doctor,” recreating scenes and over writing subtitles in order to transform poor films into great films.
